How reliable is the QM3000-V3 system?
The QM3000-V3 is designed to be plug and play, and autonomously connects to the cloud for real time data streaming and automated analysis. We keep an eye on it remotely and apply regular updates. It gets better over time.

The QM3000-V3 provides a trusted first principal measurement with inherent accuracy, part per billion precision, fast response time, and real time data analysis. This performance permits operators assess emissions and severity in real time before they become a larger issue. It also translates to more cost effective monitoring since a single system can cover much larger areas. Tedious field calibrations are not needed, and maintenance cycles spanning 1-2 years are not uncommon. At just under 75 kg (165 lbs) total system weight the QM3000-V3 can be easily be repositioned if needed due to temporary or permanent site infrastructure changes.

Installation is easy and requires a few hand tools that are shipped (and stored) with the unit. Complete assembly takes about 30 minutes. It’s also a breeze to relocate on a typical site without the need for complete disassembly. Comes in handy if one needs to move things around for local infrastructure updates.
No. At least not the kind that requires you to have a contractor make a hole in the ground and set concrete posts, which is time consuming and expensive. The Quadpod has landing feet that can adapt to any surface (soft soil, asphalt, rock). Short length ground stakes are used to ensure the Quadpod does not get pushed around over ground. Its wide stance and low wind profile makes it rugged to stand up against any weather. Our systems have endured the most severe storms in the Permian Basin, including weather events with reported 100 mph (~160 km/h) gusts.
Site coverage depends on the location, size, and respective prevailing wind conditions. The QM3000-V3 is a high precision, fast (1Hz) instrument capable of detecting part-per-billion enhancements. Fewer systems can cover an entire site compared to technologies that only achieve part-per-million detection and slow response times. Fewer systems = lower overall cost and less maintenance.
The QM3000-V3 is designed to run 24/7/365, is dust tolerant and operates in any weather. Maintenance schedules can be up to 1 to 2 years apart depending on location. Continuous smart diagnostics will send notifications when maintenance is needed. Sensor maintenance is easy and cost effective.
The QM3000 series has been field operated over a decade and continuously been improved over time, demonstrating years of continuous operation ranging from northern cold to desert heat conditions. Rigorous, independent testing has been performed at the SW Research Institute, demonstrating its robust performance and high confidence measurement abilities. Many refer to the QM3000 as the gold standard for stationary methane sensor technology.
